Stop Comparing Yourself With Others
Stop Comparing Yourself With Others – Feeling left behind by other people’s achievements and always comparing them with your own achievements. Finally, the thought, “I’m still like this” or “their life is good”.
Why did it happen? Why is there always a feeling of comparing yourself to other people? Because all of this started with social media posts. The first thing you do is stop scrolling on social media for things that trigger you. There’s no need to find out too much about people’s information that you don’t actually need. What are you trying to do anyway? Stop scrolling through social media which makes you lose track of time. I can’t believe I’ve been opening Instagram for two hours or more and more. Social media is indeed a place to show off one’s achievements. It’s better to focus on yourself, be consistent and disciplined to use your time well.

So, how do you stop comparing yourself to other people? I saw in an Instagram reels post about someone’s story about how he managed not to think too much on the idea of comparing himself to other people. Comparing other people’s with our own will never end. While other people are busy with their worldly achievements or success, there is one blessing that we must be grateful for.
This blessing is the blessing that we are still given time to read the Al-Qur’an calmly and the pleasure of time to do other ibadah. It feels like this is the most expensive that not everyone can have it. Don’t let Allah take away this blessing because what a poor we would be if Allah take this blessing from our lives.
Instead of being busy chasing this world, why don’t we keep ourselves to pursue the blessings of the afterlife. This world is very easy for Allah SWT. Isn’t it that if we pursue the afterlife, then we will still get the world. Isn’t the final goal the afterlife?
Don’t get too carried away by other people’s achievements and why not just focus on improving yourself?
